In the FEI World CupTM Dressage Grand Prix supported by Horse&Hound each competitor performs the same dressage test and the best score wins. Dressage involves a horse and rider carrying out a sequence of highly skilled movements from memory, demonstrating the power and elegance of the horse and is described as ‘the ultimate expression of horse training’ by the FEI. Each movement is scored out of 10 and the test is awarded an overall percentage.
