London Overground

Kensington (Olympia) is on the London Overground network. It’s one stop from Shepherd’s Bush (Central line) or West Brompton (District line). The venue is next to the station.

We have been notified that Southern Trains have announced further strikes on 13th, 14th, and 16th December.

This affects the overground line from Milton Keynes – East Croydon, which goes directly through Olympia.  It will reduce the number of overground trains going through Olympia by 1 train per hour.

If you are travelling on this line, there are several options if you are coming from Milton Keynes.

Via Euston. Walk to Euston Square, hop on a Circle line going westbound, change at Edgware Road for a district line train going to Wimbledon, alight at High St Kensington and walk down or get the bus down.

Via Euston. Walk to Euston Square, hop on a Circle line going westbound, change at Edgware Road for a district line train going to Wimbledon, change at West Brompton for the overground. All overground trains from West Brompton go via Kensington Olympia.

Via Euston: talk the Northern line to Victoria, change for a westbound District line train going to Wimbledon, change at West Brompton for the overground. All overground trains from West Brompton go via Kensington Olympia.

Via Euston: Walk to Euston Square, take the circle & hammersmith lines to Hammersmith and hop on the bus from Hammersmith to Olympia.

The other option is to take a Euston train, change at Harrow & Wealdstone, change at Wilsden Junction and then alight at Olympia.

From the South there are regular overground trains from Clapham Junction to Kensington Olympia, or from Victoria take the district line going to Wimbledon, change at West Brompton for the Overground and alight at Kensington Olympia.

IF YOU HAVE BOOKED OVERFLOW PARKING AT WEMBLEY

You will need to take the train from Wembley Central to Willsden Junction and change for the overground to Kensington Olympia. An alternative route is take the Metropolitan Line from Wembley Park to Baker Street. Then change for the circle line, and then either go High St Kensington and bus, West Brompton and the overground or Hammersmith and the bus, as explained above.

We apologise that Southern Trains ongoing rail dispute has affected your journey to and from The London International Horse Show, and hope that you find this information useful
